I posted 50 honest blogs (not "Ultimate Guides") to Dev.to, and got 100 followers in 1 month. The key was to post about my real struggles: building Android apps, betting bots, and tool sites.
I also commented on 10 posts per day, adding value instead of self-promotion. People followed me because I was helpful, not because I shouted "follow me".
If you want Dev.to followers, be human. Post real content, help others, and the followers will come.
