I had a 15-loss streak in sports betting, and I almost doubled my bets to "win it back". That's the gambler's fallacy — past losses don't affect future wins.
I stuck to my 1% bankroll rule, and the next 10 bets won 6, bringing me back to even. The key is to never chase losses, and to have a fixed bet size.
If you're betting, learn the psychology. The math is easy, but controlling your emotions is hard.
