The last time I published anything here was in May 2021.
Back then, I didn't have a full-time job, AI wasn't readily accessible. I was learning, building, exploring, and honestly just enjoying the process of figuring things out. It was a period of curiosity, experimentation, and a fair bit of uncertainty. I didn't know exactly where my career would take me. I just knew that I loved building software.
Fast forward to 2026, and a lot has changed.
Today, I'm a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Developer Experience, with a strong focus on CI/CD, infrastructure.
It's been an interesting journey getting here. Along the way, I've worked across a wide range of domains, including frontend development, full-stack product engineering, observability, platform engineering, and now Developer Experience.
I've switched jobs, failed interviews, been PIP'ed, you name it. I learned plenty along the way. Like most careers, it hasn't been a straight line, but that's part of what made it worthwhile.
I've learned a lot from each of those roles and experiences, and they've shaped how I think about building software and working in general. I'm a bit more seasoned these days, with a broader perspective on both the technical and human sides of software development.
I've also been fortunate to work at some incredible companies alongside remarkably smart people. Wouldn't trade that experience for nothing.
What I'm Building Now
Outside of my day job, I've been working on something I'm deeply excited about, a music creation platform called Songram(Another DAW in the browser lol).
The goal is simple, help people turn ideas into songs more easily.
Making music should feel inspiring, not overwhelming. Whether you're working through writer's block, experimenting with new sounds, or trying to capture an idea before it disappears, the right tools can make all the difference.
That's what we're building with Songram, a platform designed to help musicians and creators spend less time wrestling with tools and more time creating.
Yes, AI is part of the story. But it's just that, part of the story. The real focus is creativity. AI isn't there to replace artists. It's there to support them, spark ideas, and make the creative process feel more fluid (So no, we aren't auto generate whole songs for you).
We're currently in closed beta, and the feedback so far has been incredibly encouraging. If you're interested in what we're building, you can join the waitlist at https://songram.app.
What's Next
I'm back, and this time I plan to stick around.
I'll be writing more often about the things I've been learning, building, and thinking about. That'll include Developer Experience, infrastructure, startups, creative tools, and whatever else catches my attention along the way.
Some posts will be technical. Some will be opinionated. Some will probably just be me thinking out loud.
Either way, there'll be more to come.
