There is no “good code” or “bad code”. There is only working code and non-working code.

One mindset that changed the way I work as an software engineer:

There is no “good code” or “bad code”. There is only working code and non-working code.

Earlier, I focused too much on making everything perfect — naming, structure, architecture. But real projects taught me that if the feature does not solve the actual problem or fails in production, none of that matters.

Now I focus more on understanding the flow, handling edge cases, and making systems reliable.

Simple code that works consistently is far more valuable than clever code that is hard to maintain. Still learning the balance every day. 🙂
