I have been programming for 7 years in In-house technologies of SAP( like ABAP, SAPUI5, HANA, SCP) which are developed solely for the business apps.
Recently started exploring the open source world and developed few cool apps in Flutter-Firebase and now learning React to develop their Web-counterparts because flutter web is still experimental and not very satisfying.

I started my journey to be a developer back in 2014 trying to learn how to build websites with Dreamweaver for my BAS Degree. Now 9 years later I am still trying to improve my skills with development and hopefully be able to stick with one thing now that I am no longer busy with the military. I am the typical "youtube to-do list app watching/17 unfinished Udemy courses/cant stick with a language" type of learner at this point but looking to change that with 2021. I am on a road to complete IT Certs (Sec+,CND,CEH) and decided to fully commit to learning Python. My end goal is just to be able to work on projects as a freelancer while completing my life goal of making the Jarvis A.I system from Iron Man(I know crazy). I can't wait to learn from others around the world as I start this journey.

Hello, I am self taught. In 1997, aged 27, I swapped my career form Police Officer to Developer.
Originally using Pascal (ms dos days), then to Delphi, Some VB, then moved to UK in 2004 (from South Africa), found no Delphi work, got a PHP job with never having used PHP....stuck it out for 6 years, wrote e-commerce systems from scratch back then.
Got involved with Magento E-Commerce platform, been stagnant really in that for a long time.
Now living in Perth (since 2008) and migrating more to DevOps role, using terraform type tools to build out environments to AWS (as code), and still doing Magento 2 work for some select clients.
Hoping to learn something new, and maybe help some beginners out as well.
I still have a lot to learn, and I enjoy the journey.
