A friend of mine wants to launch a shop but I cant build it, no time (also CBA), how can I give them a simple to use shop?

WooCommerce. Dead easy, cheap and has numerous extensions and themes.
Add Stripe and PayPal and you're good to go.
Will of course require you pay for hosting.
